At Demand Care Health & Wellness, we are committed to delivering safe, timely, and equitable care. To maintain the highest quality experience for all patients, we ask that you review and adhere to the following practice policies.
Appointment Cancellations
We understand that circumstances may arise requiring a change in your scheduled appointment. We ask that you notify our office at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- Appointments canceled with fewer than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may result in a $50 fee.
- Repeated missed appointments may impact future scheduling privileges.
Late Arrival Policy
To minimize disruptions and ensure timely care for all patients, we kindly ask that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
- Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late should call the office prior to arrival.
- Depending on provider availability, late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
No-Show Policy
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment, or failure to provide adequate cancellation notice, is considered a no-show.
- A $50 fee will be assessed for all no-show appointments.
- After repeated no-shows, the practice reserves the right to review the patient-provider relationship.
Payment & Financial Responsibility
We are committed to transparent and secure billing practices.
- Co-payments are due at the time of service.
- Self-pay patients and those with unmet deductibles are expected to pay at the time of their visit.
- Patients are responsible for notifying the practice of any changes to insurance coverage and presenting an updated insurance card at the time of their visit.
- Demand Care Health & Wellness accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as NFC-enabled payments (e.g., Apple Wallet, Google Pay), processed securely through our J.P. Morgan payment system.
- For efficiency, patients are encouraged to maintain a credit or debit card on file in our encrypted system to cover co-pays, balances, or applicable fees.
Fee Schedule
- No-Show or Late Cancellation (less than 24 hours): $50 fee
- Self-Pay New Patients (Initial Visit): $TBD
- Self-Pay Established Patients (Follow-Up Visit): $TBD
Inclement Weather & Emergencies
The safety of our patients and staff is our highest priority. In the event of severe weather or other emergencies, please call 302-294-6593 before traveling to confirm the office’s operating status. Any unexpected office closures will also be communicated through our voicemail system and website.
Communication Policy
- Clinical questions should be addressed during scheduled appointments whenever possible.
- Non-urgent inquiries may be directed to our office phone line during business hours.
- For medical emergencies, always call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Patient Rights & Responsibilities
Demand Care Health & Wellness is committed to treating all patients with dignity, respect, and compassion. We ask that patients:
- Provide accurate and complete information about their health and insurance coverage.
- Participate actively in their care and follow the treatment plan agreed upon with their provider.
- Show courtesy to staff, providers, and fellow patients.
- Keep scheduled appointments or provide timely notice of cancellations.
